Under the project, three summer / winter schools for PhD students will be conducted in the topics: clean energy, intelligent materials, diagnostics, structural analyses, intelligent distributed generation.

Lectures / laboratory demonstrations will be conducted by experienced scientists from IMP PAN, scientific institutions as well as practitioners from Poland and abroad. The target group are the best PhD students whose interests relate to the project subject.

The target group are the best foreign PhD students who have completed their master’s studies or their doctoral theses are related to the fields of engineering and technology as well as natural sciences. The scientific disciplines (according to Ministry of Education and Science (Poland) classification) will be particularly preferred: mechanical engineering, materials engineering, biomedical engineering, civil engineering and transport, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, mining and energy, physical sciences.

1st school (summer 2022)

2nd school (winter 2023)

3rd school (summer 2023)

In order to maintain complementarity, within a given school (apart from the main topic), there will also be lectures / laboratory demonstrations on the other subjects.

All lectures and laboratory demonstrations will be conducted in English.

Participants who will take part in a blended-learning summer schools will receive a scholarship to reimburse travel and accommodation. The number of scholarships is limited.

All schools participants (PhD students) will receive a graduation certificate containing information on the subject and the number of ECTS credits. The method of calculating ECTS credits is compatible with the one used in TSD PAN and described in its Regulations:
